Riela Bathhouse Madrid — Finnish Sauna & Ice Plunge

A modern reinterpretation of Roman thermae, Japanese onsen and Russian banya in Madrid's city centre. The circuit includes a Finnish sauna (90°C), a hammam (50°C), a mineral hot pool (42°C), two cold plunges (4°C and 8°C) and heated granite stone lounging. All linen, towels and slippers are provided. Sessions last 75 minutes self-guided. Mon–Thu €38/hour, Fri–Sun €45/hour. Open every day 10:00–21:00. Featured in Forbes as part of Madrid's wellness revolution. Phones not permitted in bathing areas.

Frequently asked questions

Bookings can be made online or by phone; we recommend reserving in advance, especially for weekend visits. When you book a treatment or the Roman Bath Ritual we reserve space in the thermal circuit for your scheduled hour.
Bring swimwear; we provide towels, robe and slippers for treatments. For thermal areas swimwear or appropriate spa garments are required and shoes are not permitted on wet surfaces.
Guests with cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, pregnancy or recent surgery should consult their doctor before using the sauna or cold plunge and inform us on arrival. Our staff can advise on safe use and modify treatments when needed.
Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. If you enjoyed your experience, a 5–10% tip for therapists is common and can be left in cash or added to your card payment.
